Bluehost vs Hostgator

 Bluehost vs Hostgator

Which one is the best hosting provider?

When you are looking for a web hosting provider, there are two big names that will always pop up. Bluehost and Hostgator. Both webhosting providers tell you they will give you the best service, while there are a whole bunch of providers of lesser quality.

So, which one of these is actually the best?

While most people talk about Bluehost, Hostgator is not worse than the most popular provider there is. That is why I decided to write this blog to help you make the best choice for you.

Read on to learn more about these platorms.

Bluehost vs Hostgator: Which one is the best?

HostGator(priced at $2.75/mo) and BlueHost(priced at $3.95/mo) offer similar features for the exact same price. While Bluehost is more popular due to their excellent marketing strategy, HostGator performed better than Bluehost in overall performance. Not only HostGator is faster, but they also offer better support. Their similarity in features and price is because they are owned by the same parent company. However, EIG doesn’t really invest in infrastructure when they purchase a web hosting brand. Therefore, both hosts are still using the data centers they had in place prior to acquisition.

As you can see here Hostgator comes out just a bit better. In my opion though, both providers have a free trial so, try them both out. In my experience sometimes something that works better for someone else doesn't work as good for me. So just try them both out play around a little and decide for yoursel which one works better for you.

  1. Firstly, bluehost hosting has a low entry price, allowing you to get started for a low cost. However, they do not offer as many features as HostGator. For example, a single cPanel-based site will only cost you 50GB.
